FALLS CHURCH, Va. – Tax Analysts, the nonprofit provider of federal, state, and international tax news and analysis, today announced that Cara Griffith will serve as the new editor in chief of its state tax publications, which include State Tax Notes, a weekly print magazine dedicated solely to state and local tax issues and policy, as well as State Tax Today, a daily online publication providing comprehensive tax news and analysis for all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and every U.S. territory.
As a legal editor for State Tax Notes, Griffith has reported on many federal and state court cases, congressional hearings, and tax conferences. Her examination of transparency in state taxation is highly regarded by state tax practitioners and policymakers alike.

Of course, Cara will continue her invaluable work of examining transparency in state taxation.”
Griffith is an expert on state and local tax issues and policy and the author of Practice Notes, a State Tax Notes column. She has written for a broad range of tax policy publications, including The Tax Adviser, The Hedge Fund Law Report, and The Hill. She also blogs at TaxAnalysts.com/blogs.
